A compression limiter is a rigid and hollow cylindrical part whose function is to ensure the integrity of the anchoring zones of a plastic part. The compression limiter is also called a spacer or socket. In an assembly of plastic parts, the underside of the screw head is supported with the compression limiter, thus avoiding the deformation of the plastic.
