A standard threaded insert is a cylindrical part obtained by successive turning operations. These operations aim to obtain an external thread as well as an internal thread that are standardized, that is to say that the dimensions of the threads and taps correspond to international standards. Thus, the threaded insert can be assembled into a component in order either to reinforce it and/or to allow the assembly of a second component using a screw that will join into the tapping of the insert.
