A threaded insert is a cylindrical part obtained by successive turning operations. These operations aim to obtain an external thread as well as an internal thread. Thus, the threaded insert can be assembled into a component in order either to reinforce it and/or to allow the assembly of a second component using a screw that will join into the tapping of the insert.
